Claire Patterson said "We had a basketball team and a baseball team at Roubaix. We went to Deadwood at least once or twice a week and played baseball, softball, kickball. We played real often, like I say, maybe once or twice a week, but we never won a game that I can recall, and in the wintertime, we played these same individuals in basketball, and all of us were fresh out of high school, and so we never lost a basketball game. We beat 'em something terrible every time."
